Thank you. While AJ is Hasbro’s property and they can change her however they want, and I can always watch old episodes of her, the reason given for the change sounds kind of childish.
Oh, there’s definitely hard evidence/proof. The e-mails were real. I saw them back when they leaked. I just don’t have any copies saved on my computer.

It was in one of the e-mails that got accessed because someone at DHX had an easy (for the leaker)-to-guess password.
Unrelated but that narrative that Simpsons went bad after the 11 th season or before always pissed me off,they had very funny episode all the way up to Season 17,it’s after the 18th that they went stale.The Movie should have been the point to stop however

To be honest, I haven’t heard about Case Closed and I should have made that clear.
But the overall consensus is that The Simpsons is bad after 5–7 seasons … or at least not as good, more mediocre.
Uhm…yes it is. A show is a show. And I mentioned three. Not one. And Simpsons have never been stale. XD
One show is not an argument.
Also, The Simpsons is one show used as an example of shows going stale. Flanderisation also comes from The Simpsons.
One Piece, Case Closed and The Simpsons come to mind of shows doing fine for vastly long periods.
If people are in love with G4, watch it over and over again. But continuing on the show forever, like other shows, will just make it stale.
We need to move on. We can have new waifus. People seem to change waifus from time to time anyway.
Apparently people on /mlp/ don’t share that notion. They’re all up in arms about their southern waifu.
Personally I feel a little sad about AJ not being some rural hick anymore too, but I’m not too bothered by it.
Which I don’t see the issue with, and I wouldn’t see the issue with leaving AJ out of it too. – Let us have new characters with new personalities. It’s not going to be a new generation if it’s the same characters.
Stalin once had his picture taken with another politician. The other politician was killed during one of the purges. The Soviets edited the other politician out of the photo.
Hasbro is basically gonna change AJ to the point of unrecognizability in G5.
