Oh hey! Reusable launch vehicles! SSTOs are great, though there are several complex technical reasons why there isn’t one in use rn. But maybe through magic, some of the technical challenges can be overcome! So they’re only feasible and frequently used in KSP ;P  
SpaceX’s BFR will hopefully be a rather reusable launch vehicle, sounds like what Jet is talking about here :D  
Can’t wait to hear more about ΔV’s future adventures! ^ w ^

I believe the XS-1 was designed with that in mind. It’s currently in development by the defense advanced research projects agency and Scheduled for testing in 2020.

the shuttle was a (new) thing at this time (80s), and it can’t go to space on its own  
the thing jet talks about should go to space and back on its own without throwing boosters or fuel tanks away like the shuttle does  
look up SSTOs, theyre pretty cool
