That taco thing again? There comes to a stage when we stopped caring. I’ll accept the idea of common cute especially as it added some fun to the trio (though it’s pushing things to say fluttershy has no personality).

Well, A lot of Sonata pictures are related to that stupid taco meme.
But i do think that people prefer her over Adagio because she is the ‘common cute’ even though she lacks personality, Much like Fluttershy.
Because no one can separate from her apparent love of tacos, even though anyone can be excited for tacos without being obsessive. Also, Sonata is more often as being too innocent and not very evil, which is just dumb. The silly ones get the most enjoyment out of the misery of others more often than not.
Oh let’s face it. Most of the mlp villains can’t escape being cute.
Then again you said it was all about memes.
It’s not whether you find her cute, it’s that you said that Adagio is mean instead of cute, even though people find her cute, and Swiss Legs is more mean than Adagio, yet is depicted by cute often.

She’s silly, not cute. You can also argue that Adagio is cute, due to cute being a relative term. Also, Bug Legs is mean-evil as you call it, but people adore her.
Or they simply preferred cute evil as opposed to mean evil.
Because people are too attached to memes.
