#B9D5"] I'm curious as to why Faust is the be-all-end-all of pony to some people.[/bq]

She's not the be-all, end-all but she attempted to keep Hasbro from ruining the show and turning it into an obnoxious 22-minute long toy commercial like so many shows are. She fought to protect the show as much as she could. If not for her the show would've turned out to be another forgettable girl's cartoon (just with an established franchise), would've done nothing special nor garnered any real attention, and would've be cancelled at the required 65 episodes for syndication and we wouldn'vet be here discussing it.

Read the interviews with her. See what she had to say about how she was tired of girl's entertainment being tripe and what she wanted to do to change that.

She is responsible for the show being done the way it was, and what attracted older fans. Regardless of what you think of her today, if you're a fan of the show you owe her a debt of gratitude.
