personally I hated how pinkie was being used to mouthpiece the “you should be a good girl and not tease people who are sensitive” moral. s1 was really clumsy in delivering their moral messages, and they just threw that in there like “okay, stop the plot and add in a lesson for the children, using uh… rolling a 6 means pinkie pie.” after that moment, there wasn’t any other mention of pinkie being concerned for anypony’s feelings, in the rest of the episode!
 
heck they even joked about it, where fluttershy was shocked when the faux turtle’s head went sproing. who says pinkie wasn’t wrong in s1, and had to learn a lesson about treating fluttershy too sensitively? maybe pinkie learne that fluttershy’s tougher than she looks, and flutters just doesn’t believe in her own inner strength, so pretends to be weak and sensitive.</headcanon>
 
really the m6 forcing fluttershy to fight the dragon was the worst flutterabuse episode, I think.

I’m basing Pinkie’s revengeful nature on the episodes:  
Party of one - She was very upset for being left out and had no problem saying stuff and even going bananas  
The Last Roundup - Pinkie was up to get AJ for breaking a pinkie promise and nothing couldn’t stop it until AJ apologized  
Pinkie’s Pride - Pinkie’s resentful nature made her challenge Cheese Sandwitch
 
I’m sure there is more and the first one was a stretch, but you must admit that Pinkie is not that emotionally stable and this in-stability does make her prone to anger and resentful thoughts.

Can’t say I agree with you on her being that oblivious. Somewhat oblivious, sure, but not to that extent. I was far from the only one who noticed it when the episode aired.
 
Also, I can’t say I recall Pinkie ever truly holding much of a grudge. Your perception of her character is much different from mine.

Of course she can be that oblivious, but then again if she was aware of what she was doing then she might be resentful with Flutters for the insult thing, we know that Pinkie is one pony that can hold a grudge.

I don’t care what anyone says. From the day this season 4 episode first aired until now I’ve never been able to see this as anything but out of character for Pinkie. It’s not normal for her to be this unaware of the feelings of others, nor is it like her to be so aggressive.
 
Sure there was a “Flutterbitch” thing, but there were reasons for it. Manipulation by Discord and assertiveness training gone wrong are good examples. There was no sign of a reason for Pinkie to behave this way, though.

Is not the same to prank someone on purpose than to be oblivious to someone’s reaction to what you say, Pinkie is oblivious to a lot of things and that is her character. The fact is that she didn’t mean to make Fluttershy cry, in here she wasn’t aware that this could hurt Fluttershy’s feelings witch is normal in Pinkie, she is known for being a loose mouth… or maybe this was revenge on Flutter for calling her “simple minded and frivolous” and then making her cry making fun of her passion for parties (which to be honest Fluttershy was completely aware that she was hurting Pinkie and Rarity at the time and I personally think that was her honest view on the two at the time) but then again no one remembers her Flutterbitch phase.

I don’t blame Pinkie for her actions of scaring my waifu…. What I do blame however are the fucking writers. I mean, what the fuck we’re they thinking?
