I only did this by request of someone who wanted to see mud on Rarity’s shoes in Life is a Runway. I went back to my first way of mud edits because people seemed to like them more than the last one I did before this one.
If for any reason you dislike mud edits (and my interest in it isn’t even a fetish, though I know it is for some), including finding mine to not look realistic enough (despite my best efforts to make them look realistic based on pics from the show), ignore and go on to something else.
I guess I need some story to it as well, don’t I? How about… Rushing to her performance, Rarity tripped and fell in the mud. Though covered in mud from head to toe (or rather shoe) this didn’t stop her performance, and the audience loves her. Looks like she doesn’t mind getting dirty as much as she used to. But, she still took a long bubble bath and shower when she got home.

Princess Celestia’s story: When Princess Celestia was walking in the Everfree Forest, she accidentally steps in mud and it got on Princess Celestia’s shoes. She made it to Canterlot and took her muddy shoes off.
Princess Luna’s story: When Princess Luna enters Applejack’s dream, she steps in the mud and all over her shoes. Applejack pulled her out, Luna thanks her and exits her dream. Luna was glad to see her shoes all cleaned.
Princess Cadance’s story: When Flurry Heart played in the mud, Princess Cadance must get her out by walking through the marshlands. When Cadance walking through the marshlands, the mud was on Cadance’s shoes! At last, Cadance got Flurry Heart out of the mud and goes back to the Crystal Palace. When entering the Crystal Palace, Shining Armor complaints Cadance on her muddy shoes. With that, Cadance giggles.
Sassy Saddles’ story: On the way to Canterlot Boutique, Sassy Saddles accidentally steps in the mud. Slowly walking, Sassy was afraid to getting her beautiful hooves dirty but she was enjoying walking through the mud. At Canterlot Boutique, Sassy has an idea and she pressed her hoofprints on the dresses with paint. Everypony loved Sassy’s hoofprints on the dresses when Sassy was happy.
Vice Principal Luna’s story: While going to Canterlot High, Vice Principal Luna walked through the muddy path while raining, getting mud on her white heeled shoes. Luna made it to Canterlot High and leaving her muddy footprints from her shoes. Luckily, Luna has new white heels and puts them on her feet.
Dean Cadance’s story: When Dean Cadance was taking a shortcut to Crystal Prep Academy, she steps in the mud and walking through the marshlands. Cadance was almost losing her gold colored high heeled shoes but keeps them on. Then, the mud gets inside of Cadance’s shoes. At last, Cadance made it Crystal Prep Academy and leaving muddy footprints from her shoes. Then, Shining Armor compliments Cadance on her muddy shoes. Then, Cadance and Shining giggles.
