couldn’t agree more comrade, my grandfather was a commissar in the red army and thats what’s what he stood by.

The Russians and Germans had some of the best battle songs of that era; From Erika and Panzerlied to the echelon’s song and Polyushka Polye. It always gets lost in history books and politics that at the end of the day these were just simple soldiers just trying to fight for their own flags.
