Description
This is one of the bigger differences between Crimes against Nature mod with RaceCustomizer and Crimes against Nature with Fallout Equestria 4 mod, the companions, despite the companion changing mod supplied in the CaN download page and activated, FE4 mod takes hold OVER what CaN+RC+companions mods do and changes the appearance of the companions period. With CaN+RC, Preston Garvey is brown coat and grey mane/tail, with FE4+CaN, Preston is blue coat with a mane/tail color that I couldn’t exactly make out since it was dark when I seen him. The same for here with Piper. With CaN+RC+companion mod, Piper is named Piper Sparkles and takes after Twilight Sparkles alicorn appearance, yet here with FE4+CaN, just named Piper where it would normally be Piper Wright and her colors are entirely different as you can see above. I definitely will be getting to see all the companions at this rate to see all the changes, but one thing I do hope that the companions mod allows for, and at least, Nick Valentine to be a synth pony again. Something for those entertaining the idea of getting this mod is that most bodies of NPC’s are shrunk by a lot and heads are funky. I kinda wish the developers of the FE4 mod get the intuition to include synths, feral ghouls, and super muties to be ponified (since muties are “enhanced” ponies thanks to FEV), and some other minor fixes. Do mind that anyone wanting to use this mod NEEDS all of the DLC (minus the texture pack) downloaded and installed, otherwise you would be sticking to the vanilla version (which is also available), but missing out on a lot of amazing things you get with all of the other DLC’s.

I’ll look that up.
[EDIT]
Just looked it up… yeah… not my thing

I would much rather keep my swearing canine companion the way he is personally. Seriously get Funny Talking Dogmeat mod, worth the hilarity.
ok that idea amuses me too much lol
I know… maybe I’d be better off making a Diamond Tiara skin for Dogmeat
Good luck with that because the only quadpedals in game are cats and dogs and have their own animations, so you’ll have to make your own animations too.
Okay… I gotta learn how to make mods just so I can make two versions. One as a little 1st gen synth, and one as a anthro Sweetie Bot. (Most incredible would be finding a way to turn Nat into a full feral Sweetie Bot)
(Un)Fortunately, no, she’s not Sweetie Bot. I’ll get a picture of Nat the next time I’m in Diamond City as right now I’m in Far Harbor. (not currently playing)
And Piper’s sister becomes Sweetie Bot? (That would be so much win!)

It doesn’t break the character, it breaks my saved games. I’ve even had issues in the past when I was just using CaN and Race Customizer where updating either one of the two caused CTD upon loading.
I’m pretty sure updating the pony mods ONLY shouldn’t break your character like that.
I don’t use headgear anyways, just arms, legs, & chestpiece chameleon set of N7 armor and chameleon N7 mk 5 ballistic weave cloth. The ONLY time I use something of headgear is with power armor.
Main reason why I hate having to update mods, I HATE having to restart every time and executing player.setlevel XX just to put my char back up to the level I was all because updating a simple mod nukes any past game saves.
you’ll still want to update Crimes Against Nature when it hits 2.0 because there’s some bugfixes that make it so headgear like glasses aren’t broken on player characters.
I don’t care enough to update a mod if it’s working just fine, even if it has newer features or additions.
If you have the MLP Interface Overhaul, you’ll have a nice pony animation on the system’s start up, otherwise there really is nothing wrong with the FE4 mod. It behaves just as it would being dependent with Race Customizer, but you will have to make a new holotape to be able to change CaN settings/features on your pone.
So far… it’s all working. Lets see how things go once I have my pipbuck and can start unequiping things
Did that… hooves crossed that it works for me.
@DuskstrokeSerenade
Correcting my previous statement… Get rid of Race Customizer, pony settlers, and pony raiders mods, get Fallout Equestria 4, the mod creators changed over from ESP to ESM, which is what FE4 calls for/requests, and be ready to start a game from scratch as mod incompatibility will CTD you.
Edited because: Derpy
bit of help for ya. get FO4Edit and open one of the red ESPs. Expand the ESP on the left, then click File Header. On the right, rightclick the box next to Record, and choose Edit. Click yes on the warning, and then check the ESM box. Now save the ESP, close FO4Edit, and then change the ESP’s extension to .esm instead of .esp
Repeat for all of them, and they should now work
Also instead of Pony Settlers and Pony Raiders, just get Fallout Equestria 4.
Edited
Yeah… having issues with having ANY characters other than myself and the hubby/wife ponified.
In order to get the painted on panties and bra that go across my hip and shoulder, I had to delete and redownload all the pony mods from Nexus. Problem is now, the CaN mod is a .esm file, not .esp, and the ones in red all say missing the CAN.esp file…
If I have the pony raider enabled, all raiders are invisible now. I would imagine it is the same with settlers.
There’s a mod for that, but you might have to do some extensive mod editing just to get it to work.
I didn’t know it changed hands. I do know the girl who helped to make Race Customizer and Crimes against Nature abandoned her pet project of the MLP Interface Overhaul mod.
I’m honestly not surprised by this.
Hm… that’s a good point. I may ask the guy that took over FE4 to look into it if he has time. Also I’m pretty sure I know you on SL.
