Her cutie mark is a half moon dissolving into her coat. The moon represents a pony’s mind, and shows her ability to chip away at it with relative ease. Her talent also applies to small animals, though it is still developing and she can only make herself appear more persuasive to other ponies opposed to actually controlling their every action/thought.

Personality - Vain, proud. The two words commonly used to describe her upon first acquaintance. Courtland honors her alicorn heritage by striving to become the best daughter a princess could have - though more often than not, she ends up disappointing her mother instead. She has difficulty coping with her emotions, ultimately avoiding them altogether along with her other numerous problems. It’s been… difficult, but she’s learning how to loathe her own existence less and less. Organized, proper, and a stickler to rules, Court is well-known for her suffocating propriety and harsh criticisms. She enjoys quiet moments to herself the most.
Outside of the castle, however, her entire persona seems to shift. During Apple family gatherings Court lets go of her properties and really gets down in the dirt, tackled by a hoard of her younger cousins. She has a soft spot for small foals (or, anybody who’s younger than her).

Relationships -
Mama Luna - a complicated mixture of adoration and resentment. She loves her mother, but it’s just outrageously difficult to please her most of the time. She already does all of her duties as the eldest daughter diligently, what more could she ask for? What? For her to make friends? With peasants?! Absolutely not. No she is not lonely. No she does not coop herself up for weeks at a time - well, yes, she hasn’t gone out in four days straight but she was working to please her dear mother-

Big Mac - relatively close relationship, as far as daughters and fathers go. She’s certainly more uptight than he is, born in raised in the competitive atmosphere of Canterlot and all, yet, his presence has an unwavering ability to make her loosen up quite a bit. From time to time he’d take her out to tend to menial chores such as maintaining the royal apple trees and whatnot; (she hates the grime that clings to her silky coat afterwards) papa Mac seems to understand that it’s one of the few outlets for his daughter to release some hoarded frustration.

Moonlit Blossom - BABY SISTER MOONY (emphasis on ‘baby’). Court constantly nags her to be more responsible and stop ditching her princess duties, but alas, her efforts are futile. She mothers her almost constantly.

Lucid Ties - “Petit seigneur” (little lord). He’s a noble pain in-the-ass, yet somehow she still hangs around him. After their first encounter during her 16th birthday masquerade ball, they’d been close companions since. The stallion certainly has many, ‘unconventional’ ways of doing things, but she appreciates his wit and honesty nonetheless. They banter in French.

Alouette - (frustrating) daughter of the Lord or Chaos. She sneaks out of the palace occasionally to spend time with the “half-breed”, although she doesn’t like to admit it - her visits are usually under the guise of “I’m on princess duty” or “I’m here for a visit to Aunt Twilight, I just decided to drop by - don’t get your hopes up”.

Hope’s Light - Lil’ baby cousin. She smothered the little filly with affection during her younger years, but as they both grew up, their relationship became more distant. Since they’re both earth pony daughters of princesses, they share an unspoken bond of understanding. They don’t talk. They blink in morse code. Both ponies are at the center of a large conspiracy theory - “Fate” had made them born earth ponies to prevent the eventual total destruction of Equestria at their hooves. They enjoy fueling it as much as possible, whenever they can.
