I’m not an Equestria tm certified repairpony, but I don’t see how rapid connection/disconnection would damage her internally. At most you’re just wearing out the connection points.
If you’re concerned about the unit warming up during charging and operation, that’s perfectly normal for a Terran humidifier/rechargable apparatus to grow warm during normal operation and charging.
