Ocellus character is very similar to Fluttershy. I’m not surprised Ocellus turned it in her. Yes there is! I always knew that the Thorax is very similar to Fluttershy!

Honestly I’ve had enough of the old 6. They are already semi-confirmed for G4 so there’ll likely be even MORE with these same characters. Whatever the team was capable of doing with them creatively, they already did, and at this point they are stale to the max. Even if you still have headcanon possibilities, you won’t be getting them from this writing crew. Replacing them sounds like a TERRIFIC idea. No need to worry, the episodes will still be a huge % about them. There’ll be copious amounts of Privileged Twilight to take credit for the actions of this other 6.

I think you’re looking way too deep into things.

So… I see what’s happening.  
There are exactly six of these new characters.  
So shoving Starlight Glimmer in our faces every chance they could during Season 7 was not enough for Hasbro. Now they are going to completely replace the old ‘mane 6’ with a new one.  
Who wants to bet that at least half of the episodes in Season 8 will be focusing solely on the new group and their shenanigans? And that at the end of the season Twilight and friends will once again be captured or otherwise rendered useless and it will be up to the NEW mane 6 to stop whatever new evil escaped from Celestia’s locker?
