Well, I suppose it’s because I’m familiar with the software and the idea was novel. Also all them good 2d animation tools are costly and on Windows, not so good when you’re a stingy Linux user.
It’s not that bad for 2D, it just completely lacks any tools to optimize a 2D workflow.
