Background:Chrysalis was the first villain to come to the nicer parts of town seeking peace. Seeing this change, Celestia decided to befriend her and they hit it off. Chrysalis felt love in her heart and never wanted to leave. So they married, which was known widely as the branch of peace to the darker parts of town.When Celestia told Chrysalis of her newfound pregnancy, she got jealous. This new child would take her love and that was not acceptable.Shortly after the foal was born, Chrysalis persuaded that they put the foal up for adoption, saying “This will only put a hindrance to your great rulership. How many children do you see other rulers carrying? They don’t. Kids will bring away focus to what’s most important, it’s for the best”The child was adopted relatively fast, but neither mothers know who the new parents are, Chrysalis signed the papers without a care.Meanwhile in a different wing of the Canterlot castle, Tempest and Luna proudly proclaim the successful ‘birth’ of their newborn girl, both knowing that they were caring for Celestia’s child, “We shall name her Nebula, and I will take care of her as my sister would have done.”  
Nebula grows up with no knowledge of her real mothers, but that’s fine. She’s more than content with Luna and Tempest and her brother, Paradox.
