I’m not in denial. You’re clearly don’t get the point here, one of the directors of the show stating an obvious fact that Spike is a FICTIONAL character, it doesn’t matter you ship Spike with anybody from the show because there’s no definitive age confirmation on the show. Sure you can guess what Spike’s age is but don’t pretend you know his age because you don’t.
 
As Jim Miller said, don’t take Spike or any other character from the show so seriously, they are not real.

I wouldn’t say one of the most popular ships in the entire fandom. I would say “with” spike ships. Sadly I am not sure why because spike is a child as said by the writer in a video when answering the question to sparity and Twilight Sparkle “you’re a baby dragon spike” Meghan said “we talked about this spike is a child” so you’re basically supporting an adult in love with a small kid. Just saying and I don’t even care for any spike ship. I don’t even ship him with anybody.
