“Ack! Mistakes… have… been made.”

Fluttershy: “Hello Raven, what brings you here, I was just about to check up on Harry.”
 
Ravenhoof: “Oh, then it may be good timing for me then, you see I-”
 
 
<Fluttershy smells something sweet coming from his saddlebag>
 
 
Fluttershy: “Ooh, What’s that smell, it smells sweet… Uh… If you don’t mind me asking.”
 
Ravenhoof: “Heh heh, I bought a fresh loaf of sweet bread for Harry, it’s lightly coated with honey, and has oats and almonds on it.”
 
Ravenhoof: “I thought it would be a good gift for Harry, and maybe… a good peace offering to get to know him a little more..”
 
Ravenhoof: “I know he doesn’t trust anyone but you..”
 
Fluttershy: “Yeahh… He does, it may be a little difficult, but you might win him over with this.”
 
Ravenhoof: “Cool, I hope he loves it..”
 

 
<Ravenhoof follows Fluttershy to a spot in the forest where Harry usually likes to roam. They later find him, and at once Harry is happy to see her… but is perturbed to see she’s not alone… Harry has seen Ravenhoof before, but not enough to know him… Past visits from other ponies accompanied by her didn’t go so well and as such he immediately feels it won’t again… Once again, Harry’s guard is up for whatever the gray stallion might do… As Harry marches up to Fluttershy an attempt show that he’s protecting her and NOT trusting the gray one, he shoots a glare at Ravenhoof. Ravenhoof is all too familiar with this look, after all, he gave this look at times as well… He knew that trust must be gained, not given…>
 
 
<Harry gives a groan in protest...>
 
 
Fluttershy: “It’s okay, he’s not here to harm you, he just wants to get to know you…”
 
 
<Ravenhoof sits and stays out of the way while she finishes his checkup. Raven hopes that giving him room to breathe may farther help build his trust… When Fluttershy finished, she called Raven over… As he slowly approaches, he tries to not have complete eye contact with the towering bear, he knew he was in his presence, and he was to be respected… Fluttershy was amazed at how humble Raven was acting… She knew that his powers made him far stronger than Harry, and yet, he humbly, and respectfully lower his guard and head in submission…>
 
<Once Raven was close enough, in a calm quiet tone, nearly matching the volume of Fluttershy… He speaks…>
 
Ravenhoof: “Um… Hello Harry, I know we haven’t seen each other much… but I… I wanted you to know that I always wanted to meet you…”
 
 
<Harry couldn’t help himself but crack a smile, amazed at the submitting pony… As he listens, his keen nose picks up a smell that is coming from his bag and begins to wonder if it’s food>
 
 
Ravenhoof: “Well, I… got something for you, if you want it, it’s not much but I was thinking you would like it, and maybe… this could be the start of our friendship?”
 
<Raven slowly opens his bag and gives Harry the freshly made sweet bread… Harry leans in and sniffs the bread and glances at Ravenhoof. Not once has he did anything to upset him… In a blink of an eye, he immediately takes and devour the bread and feels thoroughly satisfied… Suddenly, Raven feels himself being picked up and given a big (and quite discomforting) hug>
 
 
Fluttershy: “Oh my goodness, Harry never accepts anyone so quickly… Whatever you have done, he seems, happy to meet you.”
 
Ravenhoof: “Ack… Yeah… I’m… I’m glad”
 
Fluttershy: “This so cute, I’ll be back I’m going to get my camera.”
 
 
<She runs off to get her camera...>
 
 
Ravenhoof: “Okay, you go do that… while I stay here… …hearing my spine pop a little…”
