Oh it’s definitely weird. In fact, those green countries also use this wacky number system based on powers of ten! I mean, how is anyone supposed to work with a goofy rule like “the next unit up is ten times as much as the lower one?” It’s chaos! Anarchy! Just what I’d expect of a system born in the confusion of the bloody French Revolution!

It’s a point delimiter. Some countries do their mathing weird and use commas for decimals.

I think its supposed to be $920,000, as there are three 0’s. The comma just looks like a decimal.
