It may just be a fan theory, but I believe Spike could gain these kind of powers because that spark of magic from Twilight that hatched Spike may not have only brought him to life, but also gave him a strand of Twilight’s DNA, confirming that he may be in fact related to Twilight, as her son. Then, he could ultimately become the Prince of Friendship.

Notice that Spike has wings (something he’s supposed to get during season 8). I just assumed that teleportation was just another new ability he is going to get during the same season.
 
Don’t know why and don’t care to know until the episode actually airs even though I will still look at fanfic about it. The image has a clear spoiler tag on it so no one should complain if teleportation does actually get added to Spike’s abilities.

Actually, I’ve been assuming Twilight’s parchment is enchanted, and any flame and/or dragon’s breath can send it to Canterlot… Eh, fan comic. ^w^

Actually there are a lot more factors to why he is considered cringy besides his Spike fetish.
 
One, is because he kept making edits of other artists art to insert Spike into it and turn them into shipping pics without the original artists permission, and not giving credit to the original artists.
 
Next is that he kept trying to add shipping tag to any image that had Spike with another pony, even if it’s not shipping. Also because he kept changing the rating of several NSFW and grimdark images to safe, just so that they would get past others filters.
 
Also whoever someone called him out, he would act really whiny about it and fish for sympathy while trying to get his followers to attack the people calling him out.
 
So there are plenty of other reasons why people consider him cringy, not just because he ships Spike with everyone.
 
Also when the hell could Spike teleport?
