Sunset sacrificing the memories of her only friends to protect them, even though they only remember the bad things she did and hate her, the mane 6’s horrified expressions as they watch Sunset scream desperately as each of them is ripped from her one by one, Sunset’s final desperate plea to Twilight to not forget her before collapsing, Sunset waking up with no memories of the human world so confused and scared that she calls out for Celestia.
 
It is seriously one of the most painful scenes in the whole series and I love how the characters all react appropriately to it, even Wallflower seems disturbed by it. And its one of the few times we’ve ever seen Pinkie Pie angry.

This scene hit me hard. Sunset sounded so scared. D:

This scene. This must have been terrifying for poor Sunset.

This hit me in the heart with a nuke. Also, it was kind of a medium-to-big revelation in terms of lore, as this is what she most likely definitely experienced the very first time all those years ago. What makes it sad when you apply that revelation, is that while she was “upset” with Celestia for (in her perspective at the time, being young and rebellious) keeping knowledge, power and “[her] destiny”, it shows that once she had actually made the warp she felt some immediate regret because she was now in an unknown world and body.

This scene was simply so great, it was really f#&$ed up and so heart wrenching, she was so confused and so lost it was so hard too watch

No idea what that means. Before Sunset went through the mirror, she didn’t know these beings existed. She also didn’t say “Who are you people?” in the episode, but if she had said a line similar to it, it’d perhaps had been something like “Who are you creatures?” or simply “Who are you?” :3

Nope. People is a universal term for “sapient tool user”, and these aren’t Ponies obviously. They also aren’t any species she knows of, so it would make sense for her to use a catch-all like “people”.

Seriously. She woke up trapped in a body she doesn’t know how to work, surrounded by complete strangers that definitely don’t look like ponies, and all she can do is call out for the former teacher she doesn’t know is an entire dimension away. That’s as pitiable as it is horrifying.
