Number of road wheels is closer to a PzIII than a PzIV, also there’s a spaced armour plate at the front which seems like it’s one of the kind mounted to PzIIIs, as it has the larger cutout for the driver’s vision port and appears to actually be spaced instead of welded directly to the front armour plate like the tacked-on armour of late-version PzIVs.

The elevation plate of the Panzer III’s turret occupies the entire turret while the elevation plate of the Panzer IV is smaller
