lol happy I could surprise you XD
welp, now i know what my dream home would be. you have rocked my world for sharing this very important information, lol
unrealistic? their are lots of apartments like this they’re called loft apartments have a look.
funny enough here’s one that actually looks a bit like sunset’s apartment with the brick walls.
but i kind of hope my place looks similar to this one day
In fairness. Its more likely an apartment than a house considering the tv, couch, fridge and microwave are all in the same room as her bed.
This is just something animations everywhere can’t seem to get right.
Consistency in dimensions of their settings.
Ok. That might be the bathroom. The small end table with the potted plant and the shadow to the right of it leads me to believe the TV setup is at the very end of the room. The other pics you just showed me do show the bare brick walls and visible ventilation and wiring better though. I originally only saw that first pipe above the entrance.
Hmm, it seems Sunset just places some rugs at the points of interest. She probably eats at her computer desk, and there seems to be junk all over the place.
Also, I just looked at her house from the outside and it’s layout doesn’t make any sense. We can see it’s one gigantic room when we see inside, but there are two huge windows on the upper half and some kind of loft/roof window. On the inside, we can see that gigantic window that goes all the way up to the ceiling but her house is connected to two other buildings on either side.
There’s a door next to the closet that isn’t seen in this shot.
Edited
That’s a closet…
I assume there is a door on the 4th wall that lads to the bathroom. We have seen what her house looks like from outside and it is not the tardis.
First off Look at the wall to the right
It has a window AND a door that goes somewhere that can be seen in other shots
Such as?
@Zking
How so?
This apartment absolutely
MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL!
Easy: she got a job that provides housing. Mystery solved~
Originally her home evidently had no carpets or wallpaper or even paint, and had bare wood floors and bare brick walls. There did not appear to be any installed lights in that room beside lamps plugged into sockets and those rail lights, her plumbing appeared to be external(which she might have installed herself), some of her possessions appeared broken and possibly salvaged, and her only means of food storage was a mini-fridge and her only cooking appliance was that microwave, which may also have both been salvaged. She did not have as many possessions when we first saw her home and it looked rather bare. Her strange affection for what may have been a homeless cat in that short may have been because she sympathized with the homeless because she spent time homeless herself. These are just observations, assumptions and theories, of course, and if Hasbro wants to distance Sunset from such thoughts from fans is anyone’s guess.
Just remember, Sunset is a refugee from another world who entered this world with no possessions, no job, no home, no friends and no relatives or family. Somehow, some way, she must have survived and found shelter and food. I hope one day Hasbro explores this.
Twilight also has dual monitor setup. <3
Idealism is strong in this series.
An average millennial age person is hardpressed to get even a one room abode in the inner cities.
But then again, fiction is where ideals work right? Who am I to complain and insert realism into the show?
But even this looks rather spacious, for an apartment int he inner town. For a single schoolgirl who lives by herself. She sure can pay for rent.
Every one of the main cast seem to live in palaces.
Obviously, this is how Sunset can “afford the rest of this”: She’s living in a garret apartment here. The rent’s probably dirt-cheap, but then, it’s like living in a storage unit.
We must be facing the rest of the apartment with our backs to the wet wall.
Not to mention the lack of other… facilities.
On the other hand, unless we’re looking from the kitchen, it lacks something important: a kitchen. And no, a mini fridge and microwave do not cut it. You need, like… a sink. You can get by, but if you can afford the rest of this, why just get by?
