The working day might have come to an end, yet ponies from the buzzing metropolis rejoiced, for some of them felt that the day, had only just begun. And as the offices, schools, and most administrative buildings were closing down for the week, the shopping centers, restaurants, cinemas, theaters, casinos and the entire entertainment sector was just waking up.
Amidst the local preparations for what seemed to be a splendid night of frivolity and clear skies, Ruhig landed in front of the Central Imperial Hospital. Outside of a few emerging doctors, patients and their families, the place already seemed eerily quiet, almost deserted. “Must be a slow day” Ruhig told himself while looking around.
He walked into the hospital, holding a rather ornate bouquet of flowes in between his right wing. Not an unusual sight in a hospital lobby, ponies bring flowers for their friends and relatives all the time. Except, this one wasn’t for a patient, rather, for a doctor, a doctor near and dear to him. As his work day at the Ministry ended, so should have Heilen’s. Ruhig walked into the elevator, calling for the 20th floor, where her personal office and examination room were located.
“All week grillin’, finally some time to cool off.” Ruhig thought while waiting “For Heili too. Can’t imagine how stressful it must be to hold the lives of others in your hooves like she does all the time….she does deserve a bit of rest.” “As he smirked thinking “Or maybe a lot of rest. Hope she’ll like it.” He thought looking at the bouquet. It wasn’t much he thought, especially not compared to what he wish he could gift her on a regular basis. But it’s spontaneous, unexpected, thoughtful, something to decorate a moment of a loved one’s day. And some days, that is just what one such pony might need. “And later I’ll treat her to a movie and a dinner at a restaurant. I bet we could both use something like that” Ruhig smiled, as the lift arrived.
The floor looked empty, with only the golden sunset left to decorate it. It all seemed so very tranquil, peaceful. Ruhig walked up her door and knocked.
“Who’s there?” Heilen asked in her usual, confident demeanor.
“Me Heili.” Ruhig replied.
“Oh…..Rui!” she exclaimed following it with some seconds of silence. “Come in!”
Ruhig knew the office well, so he walked in with his eyes closed for a few seconds. “You know Heili, I noticed this week’s been hard on you, figured you could use some quality R &..” As he opened his eyes in surprise. “…R?”
“Hello there.” Said Heilen in a flirtatious tone while laying on the examination table, still in her official surgeon attire. She levitated the bouquet out of Ruhig’s wing, breathing it in, and placing it on the nearby table subsequently. “You always were a charmer Rui.” As she continued looking him in the eyes. “So, you here to pick me up? Or maybe you’d like a little pick-me-up yourself?” As she smiled.”
Ruhig closed the door to her office. “Oh Heili.” As he alluringly looked Heilen in the eyes. “How could I deny my doctor’s orders.”

Felt a bit saucy so I did this little sketch
Again, my 2 favorite doofuses ) Well, one of them off-screen )
Life in the capital is tiring! Especially if you operate to save other ponies’ lives on the daily or actively push for socio-economic reform within the executive. These two sort of do both, so they really do make use of any free time they have, especially if they can spend it together Also, they both still try to act nonchalant while actually being giant dorks
Hope you guys like it _
