Hoooo so I watched Forgotted Friendship and Clover the Clever happened to be mentioned, along with a sort of design for him that can be extrapolated from. Wasn’t expecting that! Or the fact that it was the thing that most intrigued me, I mean, a lot of other stuff happened and I get hung up on this?
Anyways,
Highlights:
Clover confirmed to be a stallion.
He seems to have come prepackaged with Real Horse Markings, sweet.
Potential cutie mark design on the borders of his scrolls???
He clearly took after his master in hiding dangerous magic/enemies in another dimension. Goddamnit, Clover.

I kind of feel conflicted about this. On one hand, it is nothing like I imagine that Clover the Clever would look like, which includes the typical ideas of greens and a clover (either three-leafed or four-leafed) cutie mark. On the other, I just love the design. It’s so unique and creative. It ties to the map, and I can imagine it in Equestria.
