I thought I’d try making a next gen pony. I’ve only watched the first two seasons of MLP, and I’m not a huge fan, but I just wanted to draw mlp and thought I’d try designing a nextgen. (If you didn’t notice, her name is a play on words. It could be brownie like the food or brownie like the color. [similar to her mother’s name, pinkie]) I picked a lot of the colors in her from pinkie pies family. The turquoise in her hair is actually from her grandmothers hair. She has her mothers eyes and her fathers brown hair.
 
A little bit of background: She grew up embarrassed by her parents, who just wanted to spoil her and give her the funnest and most enjoyable life. Brownie was more interested in working, and learning. She gained her smarts from her mother. She didn’t get her cutie mark until high school when she realized she wanted to be a college teacher. She’s a very serious earth pony. She’s also very ambitious.
