Chrysalis: Uh.. y-yes?
Hasbro: Discord would be attempting to use you and other villains as cannon fodder to boost book princess’s confidence!
Chrysalis:…pardon??
Hasbro: Oh, and you get statued despite its said chaos spirit’s fault you and others ended up being worse.
Chrysalis: That’s.. so conflicting..
Chrysalis: at least they didn’t make me into a “changedling”
Hasbro: hey chrysalis! Great news
Chysalis: OH || SHIT||!!!

I like Chrysalis and I disagree with your last paragraph but I do think you have a bit of a point there. I think at this point no matter what they do with her, people aren’t going to like it. I’ve seen people who want her to be reformed (I’m not one of them) and I’ve also seen people who want her to remain a villain (especially given the fact she’s one of the few non-reformed villains we have).
@Goddess Erosia
But that could be an interesting compromise though. More neutrally aligned characters would be rather neat.
I’d prefer her half-reforming to where she doesn’t really become a good person but instead becomes more of a neutral lone wolf character. It would be an interesting twist in the story arch for there to be more characters that blur the line between right and wrong, and we can see her act with some minor sense of empathy under very specific conditions, but otherwise be a survivalist. Also I’d prefer her still keep her normal form.
He makes a pretty cool looking good king though.
Wow. I did not think they’d do that…
Thank you. I felt like the out cast for watching the show and reading the comics. I admittedly have only read a few that i could get my hands on but i love the story anyways.
Friendship is magic # 37
Siege of the Crystal Empire
Proof or bullyay
No this is way past that. Sombra and a few other bad guys storm the crystal kingdom and came close to killing every one but in the end he was redeemed. i think he choose to leave the darkness if i remember correctly.
I haven’t but I know there’s an alternate universe series where all the good guys are bad and vice versa… I don’t think that really counts as “redemption”.
Have you read the comics. they redeem him there.
how DARE you disrespect the bug queen

She can’t win, for obvious reasons.
People are complaining constantly about how there’s too many reformed antagonists, so they can’t reform her.
The episodes are 22 minutes long, so there’s never going to be a reasonable plot that has her be/stay evil and get away unpunished to appear again. And we already have Discord for comedic sociopathy.
Chrysalis isn’t a very interesting villain. She’s an evil queen that acts like an evil queen. Her villain song is given way more credit than it deserves (Cadance’s parts were better, just saying) and she hasn’t actually personally done anything besides plot to overthrow Equestria and get thwarted on the cusp of doing so.
Overrated? Compared to what exactly? She was a wonderfully interesting idea.
Funny, shit writing is the same reason I generally stopped reading your comments.
(Spoiler for the leaked episode he’s talking about!!)
Oh, not nothing. She’s outclassed and outsmarted by her minions (which she creates that same day) before her own plan (that they were about to use against her) melts away before her very eyes.
