Well, John de Lancie would have reprise the role as Discord since Discord appeared attending the Friendship Festival and his balloon sculpture also appeared in the beginning of the film. And it might be possible that was captured and/or enslaved by the Storm King offscreen at the beginning of the film and later set free from the Storm King’s conquering/reign/control/tyranny/take-over of Equestria after the Storm King’s death at the end of film. Even Madeleine Peters and Claire Corlett could have reprise the role as Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle in the film despite them making an appearance in the film with Apple whose actor Michelle Creber voices her in the film singing the song “We Got This Together”.

If they were so desperate in having Discord in the toys then why not use him in the movie?

Good toys, pleasing to see as a thing, them getting some attention. Would be really nice if they sold well enough that Hasbro could start giving the three of them more attention, like 1-3 things a year, at least. I’d buy any Apple Bloom merch, if it was made.
