I’m gonna be honest here. Yesterday I bought Sonic Mania, and I’ve been obsessed with it. I had high expectations for the game going in and it still managed to surpass them. So I was really hoping that today’s prompt in Equestria Daily’s Artist Training Grounds would allow me to reference it. Hence, today’s picture.
 
Today’s prompt is Draw a pony running late / Draw a pony racing the clock. With Sonic Mania’s Time Attack mode giving you the ability to restart the stage instantly any time you feel like your run is going too slow, I can imagine an ultra competitive racer like Rainbow Dash getting stuck for a while trying to achieve a perfect, flawless run, much to her friend’s dismay. I did get a bit lazy with Green Hill Zone’s background, but have you seen how detailed those environments are!? I think I got enough for it to be recognizable at least, so there’s that.
