AHH NO I’m sorry I used bases ;;^;; I just wanted to get my ideas down fast, I plan on re-drawing these soon! ;;o;;

But I was watching the episode where Rainbow’s parents were revealed and for some reason I really wanted to make Rainbow’s grandparents, so here they are!

Overcast-
Young adult: Very flashy, overconfident stallion in his day, thought he was the greatest pony that ever existed. These manor-isms led him to be really cocky, and even flat out rude to other ponies around him. He was kind of a jerk. One day he met a really pretty mare and, being the overconfident prude he was, he just strolled over to her, assuming the second she saw him, she would be fawning over him. This mare was absolutely unimpressed, and rejected him right away. This rejection was a swift blow to his confidence, he began thinking that he would always get rejected, because, he thought he was the most amazing pony ever, when one pony rejected him, he began questioning everything since he always got his way. One day while sulking around in a Cloudsdale park, a little mare walked up to him and asked him if he was alright. He scoffed at her, trying to get her to leave him alone. The mare began to leave, but when she did this, Overcast looked up, and realized he had hurt a really cute mare’s feelings and quickly apologized, thinking he had nothing left to loose. She accepted his apology, and to his surprise, she asked if he wanted to talk about what was on his mind. He very quickly began falling for the mare, but was terrified to tell her. After a long few months of getting closer to her, he worked up the courage to ask her out, and they have been together since that day. The pretty little mare, named Cloudy Sunrise, helped him grow, and become a much kinder stallion. The two eventually had a foal together, whom they named Bow Hot Hoof.
Present: Overcast is still pretty confident and cocky, constantly making jokes and fighting to prove that just because he is old, doesn’t mean he isn’t still the totally awesome stallion he was when he was younger. He absolutely adores his Granddaughter Rainbow Dash, and he spent a lot of time with her when she was growing up, teaching her how to be confident, and constantly reminding her that she is totally awesome.

Cloudy Sunrise-
Young Adult: Cloudy was always sort of quiet, keeping to her small group of friends. She enjoyed flying around Cloudsdale, watching the clouds float by, the sun rising and setting, and perching on clouds at night, staring at the stars. She liked that her life was really simple and that she didn’t have many worries. One day, she decided to get a job in creating and distributing clouds to keep herself busy, she loved clouds, it would be fun. She was eager to start on her first day but quickly realized how hard it was, especially for a tiny mare trying to move dark, heavy storm clouds. She tried her hardest to keep up but ultimately she had to opt out. Very upset that it didn’t work out, she decided to go for a fly through a park near her home, which was one of her favorite ways to relax. While she was enjoying the warm breeze, calmly soaring over the park, she noticed a pony looking distressed, she floated down in front of him, asking how he was doing. The stallion abruptly dismissed her. Feeling a bit stung, she realized he didn’t want to talk, and was about to turn and continue her flight, when the stallion quickly blurted “Hey wait, i’m sorry I snapped.”. She turned back and told him it was alright, and asked him if he wanted to talk. She eagerly listened to what he had to say, trying her hardest to give him advice and help him out. The two of them grew very close, and eventually they became partners. The hot headed stallion, Overcast, helped her learn to be more confident and reach out to ponies more. The two eventually had a foal together, whom they named Bow Hot Hoof.
Presnt: Cloudy still loves quiet strolls and flight’s over Cloudsdale, and likes to drag Overcast to her favorite cloud watching spots, even at her old age. Cloudy loves being a Grandmother, constantly spoiling her Granddaughter and doting on her.

Bluebelle-
Young Adult: Bluebelle was a very spacy young mare with pretty much terrible eyesight. She was very used to getting lots of compliments on her appearance and she graciously accepted them, but she didn’t need them. Girl already knows she is fabulous. She was very confident and outgoing, she loved getting into trouble and hanging out in social situations. She was just an all out social pony. She just had a cheery disposition that everypony around her loved. She loved flying around Cloudsdale greeting everypony she came into contact with. She was notoriously clumsy due to her terrible eyesight, But she didn’t mind, she said every time she falls, she will get back up again and make her next fall even better. She was very optimistic, laughing at every little misfortune she had, such as crashing into a wall or falling down the stairs. Ponies used to joke that she was indestructible. One day, Bluebelle got into a little more trouble that she bargained for. She was taking a flight over Ponyville, when she crashed into a tree and got stuck. Being unable to move, she just laughed at herself before calling out to the ponies below her to see if one of them would help. A really tiny mare called up to her and told her she would help her get down, and the little mare climbed up the tree and dislodged her from the branches. Bluebelle laughed at her crash and thanked the mare for the help, inviting her to lunch as a thank you. Bluebelle took the mare to a little cafe and they ordered lunch and began to talk. She said her name was Elle Rose, and after a little bit of talking Bluebelle instantly began crushing hard, and within a few days of the two of them meeting Bluebelle already asked Rose out. She was kind of suprised at how sudden it was, but she said she would love that. The two of them were a very close pair, and not even too long after they got together they were engaged. They just knew they were the perfect match, and even had a foal named Windy Whistles.
Present: Bluebelle is completely and utterly blind now, and is just as reckless and lighthearted as ever. She still loves making jokes and flying through the town, crashing into everything and just laughing it off. She spends all of her time with her wife, who loves to poke fun at how crazy Bluebelle is. Bluebelle also insists of cutting her own mane, no matter how much Elle Rose protests. Bluebelle doesnt care how she looks, she cant see herself, and either way, she still knows she is fabulous.

Elle Rose-
Young Adult: Elle Rose is the kind of mare you would automatically stereotype as a southern belle, but be warned, this petite mare will kick your flank if you dare assume she is some wimpy, helpless little damsel. She was a very bright personality, and by bright, I mean sassy and quick witted. Don’t mistake it for her being mean though, she is really sweet and gentle when she wants to be. But when something is happening that she doesn’t approve of, the claws come out and she is a little tiny tornado of sass and snark. One time when she was a foal, she foalhood friend was being picked on, and this little tiny foal kicked the bullies to the curb. She may have gotten suspending for fighting, but she didn’t care, justice was served, her friend wasn’t ever picked on again. Rose enjoys gardening an awful lot. She has the most gorgeous property in practically all of Ponyville. She obsesses over every last detail and gets honestly sad when any of her plants die. She checks the Ponyville marketplace every day to see if t here are any new exotic plants she doenst already own. One day during one of her routine checks to the marketplace, a blue mare came hurling down from the sky, crashing into a nearby tree. Rose ran over to see if she was hurt, but the pony was just laughing. She was thoroughly confused, and after an uncomfortable amount of time laughing, the blue mare asked for help. Rose quickly helped the mare down, and she invited rose to get some lunch. Rose has the apitite of a fullgrown stallion, so she happily accepted the offer. They got to know eachother over lunch and Rose really liked the mare, she said her name was Bluebelle. Not to long after their initial encounter, Bluebelle asked Elle Rose to be girlfriends, and Rose happily said yes. The two of them were a very close pair, and not even too long after they got together they were engaged. They just knew they were the perfect match, and even had a foal named Windy Whistles.
Present: Elle Rose is very content with where she is. She and her wife raised a wonderful daughter, and now she has a husband and foal of her own, which makes Rose so very proud. She spends her days dragging Bluebelle out so she can bask in the sun while she spends hours in the garden, tending to her still gorgeous estate. She loves to poke fun at Blue, and watch her Granddaughter grow up into a beautiful mare.
