Pendulums aren’t comparatively overpowered anymore, really.
(Though they are the only non Link type still gimped by link monster rules, so that’s something.)
I know I’m late to the party but if you wanna stop pendulems just play any solem card or back row destruction, it worked back when it was introduced and still works today.

I don’t get why the ever thought to put something like Pendulum Summoning in the game. It, in and of itself, is so overpowered, that everyone has to use it, or risk being at a disadvantage.
Yeah, but modern Yugioh is trash.
It’s just that with more modern cards, that doesn’t happen so much.
And some have it until the end of the battle step!
Some even have it until the end phase!
Some cards, like Zushin The Sleeping Giant and Dark Diviner only have their increases last until the end of the damage step…
If it’s based off certain existing cards, no.
