I don’t think it matters really. Especially, ‘cause we’re probably not going to see much of these two in future episodes anyways. Heck, we haven’t seen Big Mac with Sugar Belle much, ever sense they got paired off.
It’s funny how this fanbase loves ‘shipping, but anytime the show canonizes a pairing, they lose it.
(Still, at least they’re keeping the romance to a minimum.)
Because if both partners are identical in every way imaginable, then all their conversations will be the same, just an endless and unbearably monotonous chain of “I agree with that”
And if they’re both cold and emotionless there’s nothing there to build an emotional dynamic up from. Which would prevent any kind of romantic feelings from forming in the first place.
Finally, on top of all that, it only comes across as extremely boring and sends out a signal to the audience that the writers are incredibly lazy.
