Name: Solar Glory, or Solar for short

General Info:
Solar Glory is Rainbow and Soarin’s youngest child and only son. He’s an odd kid mostly in the way he acts around other ponies, he tends to be friendly and roudy some days, but he struggles with confidence issues so other days he tends to keep to himself. But though that he always has a competitive spark that is easy to light. He’s always up to play but it just takes some coaxing to get him to come out of his shell.
He loves to feel the sun on his feathers, he spends a lot of time in the clouds. His cutie mark was found when he realized found out that he can pull off a phenomenon [like the sonic rainboom] which he is named after, he takes pride in it though he’s still practicing and trying to get it down perfectly.

Relationships:
He’s close to his parents. He likes his Dad more than his Mom because Soarin’ puts less pressure on him than what Rainbow does. But he still loves his mom. She tries to be more gentle towards him, but still expects him to do his best in whatever he wants to do. He squabbles with his big sister Diamond Dust almost every second they’re around each other. It seems like Dia lives to pick on him, she feels like it’s her job as a big sister. Now that he’s bigger he can put up more of a fight and he’s started to like their little play fights.

He’s close with all of the Mane 6’s kids. He likes Sterling Saga and Velvet Dawn the best. But he spends a lot of time with each of them whenever he’s not spending time on his own or in Canterlot for school.

He’s Velvet Dawn’s ex coltfriend. They were really close and he always had so much fun with her, but he started to develop a one sided crush on Starswirl. He didn’t feel right keeping his relationship with Vel so he broke up with her. He now lives in Canterlot going through school to become a member of the Royal Guard. Because of that he has pleanty of chances to pester Starswirl. But he flies between Canterlot and Ponyville often to see his friends.
