if they needs to show he’s strong and it’s not needed to be funny, he’ll be show being strong in a normal way, such as lifting something no one else can or doing a chore easily or taking a hit without flinching  
if they need it be funny, it’ll either be something really over the top done in a gag or more likely it’ll be him struggling with something deceptively minor, like the cake or luggage, to show that the cake is dense or that someone comically over packed.  
im not saying with him he can’t pull a house, normally, he just wont without the context

It’s the fate of the big guy in a comedy show. His strength depends on what’s funnier.
