- Harmonia Aura is the fifth child and fourth-born daughter to Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. Cadence’s pregnancy with Harmony wasn’t planned but regardless she was ecstatic to welcome a new prince or princess into the world.
- From birth Harmony was her parents’ perfect little princess. She never fussed much or made messes and what a relief it was to her parents after dealing with Cicada’s grub goo, Flurry Heart’s unstable magic, and the twins’ inability to keep out of trouble. As she grew older the Empire’s tutors who grew to recoil when they heard they’d be lecturing a child of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence quickly relaxed with the little filly sat quietly at her desk with her pencils nice and even, hooves folded, and dared to not speak a word until she was called upon.
- As a teenager, Harmony was swept away by music with the Junior Pony Tunes came to preform in the Crystal Empire. Harmony has always loved to sing, and she was the best singer in her family, though now her heart yearned for travelling and sharing her talents with all of Equestria. Those dreams had to wait, her parents reminded her, she had princess duties to attend to. Harmony was disappointed but she understood she was a Princess first. Although she was introduced to Clarity Bell though the Junior Pony Tunes and she kept in touch with the mare through letters–constantly asking her new friend about what life was like in music sharing her aspirations with her.
- As Clarity Bells’ career as a singer skyrocketed, Harmony was “foalnapped” under request of her Aunt Twilight to go with her daughter Daybreak Glimmer and Sunswirl Sparkle on a friendship mission on Harmony’s birthday. With some downtime the three mares stopped at a jazz club to relax when a familiar voice caught the ear of the pink mare. Why, it was Clarity Bell that was the live performer that night. Harmony was nearly brought to tears of joy upon seeing her old friend and the tears spilled out when she realized that her friend was singing one of her songs. She always sent Clarity her songs and would always ask if maybe someday they could preform a duet together. Harmony must have caught Clarity Bell’s attention because the light-colored mare called her friend on stage and the two of them sang the night away, Daybreak and Sunswirl watching them all night until the manager and the band had to shoo all four mares out for closing. The friendship mission was a hoax for an elaborate birthday scheme collaborated by Twilight and Clarity Bell for the best birthday gift ever.
- Harmony’s parents finally loosened up on their daughter and Harmony currently lives in Manehatten with Clarity Bell and the two of them hope to become the best girl band ever. Even if Harmony has to frequently travel home to the Crystal Empire to continue to be groomed to become an ambassador for the Crystal Empire.
