They half assed on the lore building in places outside Equestria.
Every other place seems to be just a village or city State. As opposed to countries or empires like Equestria.
The Crystal city state Empire is just ruled by a prince and princess.
Not a queen, not a Empress. What a joke.

shame that like with so many other interesting things presented in the series, it isn’t elaborated upon. All we get from Terramar in-regards to The Harmonizing Heights is “Legend Says That-” and nothing else afterwards. For all we know, The Harmonizing Heights could be the product of several avian deities worshipped by the Hippogriffs, one of which is a Phoenix God who had many temples that wound up destroyed by Ponies in the distant past; resulting in the Phoenix God placing a curse upon the other Phoenixes to have their feathers strip away a Ponies’ hearing as punishment for this atrocity.

At least THAT would have contributed something to the worlds’ lore in the way why Peewees’ feathers caused Rarity to go deaf or why Queen Novo broke contact with Princess Celestia long ago. World-Building, it’s a non-entity for MLP.

Things like this make me wish the Myst series was real. Imagine a Linking Book to a Harmonizing Heights type place.

I understand Sweetie Belle’s reaction. Harmonizing Heights looks and sounds incredible.

I’d totally live there.
