I guess that you’ve seen my fanarts of Quasimod Quartz <D I fell in love in the concept of ShiningXChrysalis kid so much, that I wanted one foal by myself. That’s how Chitin was born. I’m still not sure if I will use him in my canon, but I just had to draw him <D

Chitin was born at Chrysalis’s kingdom after the time she was pretending Cadance. Chrysalis was confused by a new child but also scared of him since Chitin woke up strange feelings in her. Chitin also never felt as he belonged to his home, so he ran away at the age of 16. Chrysalis never looked for him.
Chitin arrived at Crystal empire looking for love, however in contrast to his mother’s action he wanted to work for it by himself. He took name “Morgenstern” and became a solider, for one day he will finally reveal his true identity to his father.

Extra:

• He’s Shining Armor’s assistant and probably his number one fan.
• Because of his ridiculous faithfulness, most of soldiers (Including Armor) think he’s gay, and having a crush on his general.
• Soliders from his division are making bets when he will finally confess to Shining Armor.
• Everytime, when they are in trap or close to death, Morgenstern is starting his speech but for now he was never able to finish it…
  -…soldiers are thinking that it’s a confession.
• He cries at weddings, romance movies, and classical music concerts.
• He has a diary. It’s pink.
• His disguise was based on mirrorChrysalis.
• For now he only knows Jade and Riddle.
