Just thought I’d upload this portrait I drew of Pom about a month ago. I was trying to experiment with my techniques and searching for a more recreteable version of her for the comic seeing as how the older version was giving me such fits trying to recreate it from differing angles (or even open her mouth to any significant degree it seems).  
At the time I was actually really happy with this, but after I’d distanced myself from it for a bit and came back to it I realized that this one is no where near what I’d like it to be.  
She’s definitely lost a lot of her cuteness and actually looks a touch goofy in my opinion. Thankfully my friends and sister talked me out of this version of her (they could see the issues that I couldn’t at the time, being too close to it), but I’m still happy I tried it. It’s weird how I could go from loving it to kind of disliking it in the space of a week, but I still feel like I learned a decent amount from it for the future.  
I figured that I would just go ahead and upload it and it’s sister nighttime version to sort of chronicle my evolution as an artist.
 
I hope you all can enjoy it at least a little, but don’t worry, this is not going to be replacing my current version of Pom in the comic ever. I feel like I’m getting closer and closer with every new panel so we’ll just have to wait and see where we end up.
