Was his actions impulsive and overall fatal? Yep. But I feel sorry for him over anger. After the loss of Gamora I can understand his loss of control. Losing his mother, having an asshole father who killled her along with a dead father figure kind of puts Quill in a limited loved ones range. Gamora was the one person who was there for the guy in such an intimate way. They foreshadowed his emotional temper when he did the same thing when he found out Ego killed his mother. It’s a tragic situation.

Sure It’s fun to poke fun at it but I mean c’mon.. People take it a bit too seriously. To have good drama occur characters need to be allowed to get pushed and be involved in challenging scenarios. If it went smoothly and they took the Gauntlet off that would be lame.

And before you bring out Thor losing all his loved ones. Star-Lord has always been a man child where as Thor has grown to fit the mind of a king. One is restraint and one is impulsive. All along the way Peter and Thor’s actions felt in character to me.

His actions had nothing to do with Thanos winning, if they would have Dr. Strange would have stopped him, dropped him through a hole in space or something, since Dr Strange didn’t stop him that means what Peter did was what was supposed to happen and it’s all part of the 1 in 14 million End Game. Why don’t people get this?
