To be honest, I wasn’t trying to start a debate about both characters, I was actually joking around in my first post.

I’m not denying Diamond Tiara has depth or tried downplaying her struggles. I don’t even hate the idea of her being reformed. I only had trouble with the execution of the whole thing. I just think Gravity Falls handled Pacifica’s change of heart so much better than MLP did with Diamond Tiara’s is all.

Can we start shipping Diamond Tiara and her? ;-D

I dunno I think Tiara has depth too.  
Tiara had some other issues too actually, if you payed more attention to “Raiders of the Lost Mark,” she apparently had issues with her cutie-mark, her repressed self-esteem issues, and possibly her Dad too. (Though, she seemed to love, and respect him as seen in “Family Appreciation Day”) In a way her wording seems to imply she’s a li’l jealous of the CMC. It also seems implied Silver Spoon was her only friend, which is why she became so devistated when she voted against her in the school election. She wasn’t angry or anything like a typical “alpha bitch” in a show would, if you look back she looked hurt, and even scared that she turned her only friend against herself.
 
Not to mention, Tiara’s sad song was pretty good, I felt, and probably one of the saddest moments in MLP:FiM.

Honestly, Pacifica had it worse than Tiara, what with that whole Pavlovian situation she had to deal with. That was dark…
 
Diamond Tiara, on the other hand, only had to deal with constant pressure from her mother that was the cause of her behavior for five seasons.

In my honest opinion she’s better than Diamond Tiara. I prefered the handling of “snobby rich bully from an abusive family that eventually becomes nicer” story with Gravity Falls a bit more.

Hey, it’s Diamond Tiara 2! The expression suits her.
 
Now I wanna see “Gruncle” Stan Pines as a pony. (Maybe yelling at Li’l Gideon pony.)
