I don’t think they’re that bad, and granted they are probably more “on-model” with the show then this is, but as SteveLynx said sometimes they do look awkward.
Still, I like both models, don’t get me wrong. This one has a slightly more realistic anatomy.

Thanks, that really means a lot to me, coming from THE expert on EquestriaGirls anatomy ;)

While I do like CreatorOfPony’s models, I have to agree that they do try to keep faithful to the style of the show, which presents some aesthetic problems when converting to a 3D-Environment.
Which is, in part, one of the reasons I saw an opportunity in creating my own models.
I do not know if my models will ever make it to SFM, currently the main hurdle for that is getting them rigged properly for SFM, and due to me mainly being a 3D-modeler, not an animator, and never having worked with SFM, that still seems far off.
Currently I’m working on getting as many different EG-character-figurines ready for Print for Galacon to be sold there.
…Tho I still have to check with the staff on how far I can push these fan-servicey designs. :I
Can you make this model for blender too?

I agree, the sfm models thus far kinda look a bit off puting. Like Gumby rejects.
