I’m going to be honest, Sage Leaf is one of my favourite OCs  
He’s cute, serious, dry and loving all in one massive pony! He’s built like a shit brick house like his ol’ man!  
Technically he’s just a taller than Queen Luna but isn’t nearly as tall as Queen Celestia  
So yea…he makes everyone feel tiny

Sage is a very laid back stallion who will make small talk with pretty much anyone he meets.  
While he spent most of his youth in Ponyville helping his mother with her animal sanctuary, he ultimately followed his cutiemark’s calling and became a powerful Pegasus Boxer.  
As to what is his cutiemark, it’s an Equestrian flower called a Scorpion Tail. It’s partly sentient and can be docile but if it senses that it’s being plucked it will lash out and deliver a potent venom.  
Like many, Sage was picked on at a young age. However, Sage is an angry bugger and fought off his bullies with great speed and violence. He knew at that point that he enjoyed the feeling of fighting.
 
He now competes in sky arenas across Equestria and even trains runner-ups  
When he’s not competing or training you can find him in The Crystal Empire with his daughter and husband while  
being unnaturally lazy [he prefers to do nothing]. He’s very nurturing to his kin and will always put family before work!
 
 
Edit: His early design was boring. Sage is a big boi and needs to look ferocious!
