I don’t think the comics ever explicitly stated they were lesbians, but I think it was heavily implied they were living together as a couple….
Confirmed lesbians in the IDW and Scootaloo has family? Sweet!
That’s the only confirmed canon couple that I know of…

The only confirmed couple that I’ve heard of so far is Scootaloo’s Aunt Lofty and Aunt Holiday.
A couple in the IDW comics where they said they’re confirmed lesbian and Lyra and Bon Bon.

We have two such canon couples so far.
That sounds reasonable.
Perhaps it’s opportunistic homosexuality: there aren’t enough stallions in Equestria for everypony to be straight, so the mares become lesbians of convenience.
That whole bi thing mostly seems to be something fun they do at parties,
Most of them I doubt would seriously date a girl or consider marrying her…
Why not both? Most females seem to be bi.
