@digiman619
Oh yeah, that scene where they blow up alot of the fleet (While conveniently missing the flagship) was really stupid. At least in Gokaiger, the group simply broke through the blockade and went to the planet below.
Also, it doesn’t help when, at the end of Super Megaforce, the fleet suddenly became a big threat out of nowhere by killing off their zords one by one (despite the fleet getting pwned shortly before).
@Background Pony #BE4E
While Gosei handing out power-ups every other episode got old fast, it was more that the Fleet wasn’t allowed to be a credible threat. I mean, in the first battle, they literally destroyed dozens if not hundreds of ships in the first Zord fight, so nothing else felt like it mattered. It’d be like if there was a show about the Harlem Globetrotters and they played up the Generals as a dastardly threat.

With respect, I’d actually suggest watching the Sentai for this season instead. Megaforce is filled with bad writing, dumb character choices and really not worthy of being the anniversary season. Don’t get me wrong, the action in this sequence is amazing, but the story just falls through. Outside of the finale, you see maybe 3 past rangers. It was poorly handled and most of the people responsible were let go by DinoCharge, which, outside the insanity of their own finale, was a much better series.
Or, rather, a lack of story. It feels like it’s just a compilation of fight scenes with Gokaiger mixed in with the MOST BASIC of “storyline and drama” just so it doesn’t turn into a fights reel…
@Sonic Ranger
True enough, but I was referring to both seasons. Besides, “Power Rangers Super Mega Force” sounds like an over the top parody and I avoid calling it by name if possible

Super Megaforce is full of plot holes featuring Dairanger and Flashman
