LGBT pride month makes sense now with Spike because he is bisexual so that means he is part of this community there too along with the other characters
@mjangelvortex
I welcome your stubbornness, that’s what it’s about being TRULY REBEL. It still seems a lie that this is a matter of discussion and concern, but at least the reactions teach me that, not only is it still the case, but also that we fight for solutions (of which they serve without firing at anyone).
And you’re right not to lose hope despite having a nuisance like Trump … in fact, he should start to lose it (if the ego allows him to think freely).
Personally, I doubt that he can be re-elected … or even finish the current period that governs.
(sorry, I did not go in with my account when I wrote this)
I provide some valid insight into the real world and that’s what you say? Okay.
So did other people in this discussion but you keep deflecting and acting like your view of the world is the only correct one when that’s not the case at all.
Ughhh. Here we go with “Trump is literally Hitler”. I would ask you to name one thing you don’t like about him, and if it’s a claim having to do with “racism” or “sexism”, I would ask that you also provide proof of a racist or sexist thing he did, but I know you won’t have anything, and it’ll just be a waste of time for the both of us.
People will just keep hating Trump because that’s what facebook, instagram, and all of social media will tell them to do.
I didn’t say Trump is literally Hitler. In fact my family is quite conservative and voted for him. I also consider myself rather in the center politically so even though I lean liberal in terms of LGBT rights, I actually do agree with the conservatives on some things.
Talks of racism and sexism aside, I don’t like how egotistical and full of himself he is. How he constantly belittles people and acts like a child whenever people disagree with him. Also even though I may not care for Trump or his policies but I’m not going to pull a Godwin’s Law out of my ass just because I don’t like the man.
And I didn’t need social media to dislike the guy. I did that on my own after watching how he treats people on television during the debates during the campaign. And I’m sure other people have come to their own conclusions on the man on their own too.
I’m just going to stop because I see you’re being unnecessarily hostile towards ANYTHING I have to say.
Like I said, you didn’t bother addressing literally everyone else who was contributing to what you call a “personal soapbox”. I don’t see what rules I’m breaking, considering that I have only been responding to other comments on this page.
I don’t know if I’ll get a “ban” for criticizing the unruly behavior of moderators, such as yourself. But, I only have this to say: You should really work on being a better a mediator. If you want to settle a conflict, do so by being by friendly and unbiased. Otherwise, you’ll just piss off a lot of people with these kinds of threats you’re putting out.
@Background Pony #28DD
And it’s obviously your “go to phrase” for anyone who disagrees with you.
I see you think this is personal - you’ve misunderstood what is happening here. Hide the image, or filter it - or just have the self-discipline to stop using this image as your personal soapbox. Your call. if you keep breaking our rules you will be banned.
I never said that anyone said that. I was only using it as an example of how it is the go-to phrase for people who don’t know how to think for themselves or do their own research.
If I may offer a piece of advice for you, maybe stop being a little one-sided and address your suggestion to both parties responsible instead of only me. In fact, one of the reasons why I responded with that remark was because Trump was carelessly brought into the topic. And in case you didn’t know, I wasn’t the one who brought him up.
You’re the only one here saying anything even remotely resembling that. People having concerns about the administration’s policies or the laws they are promoting doesn’t translate to “literally Hitler” unless you’re literally retarded. Cut it out.
Go be hyperbolic someplace more appropriate, like the political thread.
I feel like I’m talking to a broken record, I swear.
I provide some valid insight into the real world and that’s what you say? Okay.
But I’m not going to lose hope, even with Trump in office.

@Tokio Toy
I’m not too surprised your fanart got this reaction to be honest based on how some people react to other pride related fanart here or art with two gay parents on here.
But I’m not going to lose hope, even with Trump in office.
Well, I never believed that my fan art could generate so much thematic. Frankly I agree with both of you and I ask you to lose hope, although we know how pathetic the situation is with the acceptance of the LGBT community (especially now with the Trump idiot), despite the disparity opinions in this regard, one thing is common: the urgent need to ensure, even in the political, the defense not only of LGBT right, but of all, BECAUSE ALL RIGHTS ARE CURRENTLY AT RISK. Cool things happened in Argentina and Brazil, along with those that happen in Honduras, any corner of Europe, Nicaragua and Venezuela (subject to a blockade like that of Cuba only because they want to decide the ruler if no one there votes), they indicate us to where low intolerance falls in all areas, but so much are worrying percentages of the population of any country for, as they said in “Secret Wars” (and I hope to quote it faithfully): “Sacrifice your Freedom to obtain your Security”.
It seems pathetic at this point to fear a hypothetical 1984 playing at our doors … if it were not already so hypothetical
Yes. If that person was underage and legally considered a child, it would be abuse. But once you’re legally considered an adult, strict parents are likely to set rules you must follow while living in their home. If they tell you that you’re not allowed to smoke weed in their house, and you still do, I don’t see why they wouldn’t kick you out. Sure, there might be parents that can go overboard, but it doesn’t mean you’re oppressed. I suppose TECHNICALLY you could be by definition, but I would believe that to be officially oppressed would come from being stripped of human rights. If it’s just your family that’s treating you like garbage, then that’s a family/personal issue. Society isn’t treating you any differently like anyone else, so no I don’t think you’re oppressed. I wish I could make a clearer explanation, but it’s the best I’ve got for now.
Same with the overweight person being bullied. Do people deserve to be bullied? Of course not. But, it’s just a part of the cruel reality we live in. I wouldn’t go as far as to say all victims of bullying are oppressed. It’s not like they don’t have the same rights as anyone else. In other words, it’s not just a specific set of people that are bullied. Anyone can go through it, just like anyone can go through poverty and the like.
I think this is something we can both agree on. I supposedly refuse to hear the words you say solely because I don’t agree with you on them, and you literally refuse the words I say because you can’t deny the fact that you pulled a strawman.
Hey, my friend got kicked out of his house because he got his girlfriend pregnant. Does that mean he’s oppressed too?
Another person I know gets called “piggy” because he’s overweight. Is he oppressed too?
Some actually might argue that they are. Depending on how young that person was when kicked out, it could be considered abuse. While the case with the overweight person is still considered bullying and descrimination.
@Background Pony #28DD
This argument is over. Call it your victory if your want, but I’m done debating with someone who fundamentally refuses to hear the actual words I say.

I wrote that comment before I saw that he backed down and decided to stop. I’m sorry about that. I won’t engage with them any further.
Because you’re the one making this about others hating Trump on an image that has absolutely nothing to do with Trump.
@mjangelvortex
Please don’t feed the troll. That isn’t helping.

I’m afraid we just discovered something murky: either a transsexual spell that he kept secret … or manipulated hormones in secret …
Too much free time in a hiatus can cause things like that …

Lol implying that seems to be the only way Background Pony can make arguments here ^^’
