Description

This is a map of Greenhooves’ Grove, the area surrounding Fluttershy’s cottage, located a short distance from Ponyville proper. Brushland Moo’r is located to the north-east while the Everfree is a fair distance to the east and south-east.

1 - Fluttershy’s cottage. Was once the home of Lady Greenhooves. The old mare took Fluttershy in when the filly moved to Ponyville and they became good friends. Upon Greenhooves’ passing, Fluttershy took over all of her duties in tending to the local wildlife and plants, using the knowledge and skills Greenhooves had taught her.

2 - This is one of the most frequent trails used during the annual Running of the Leaves. The path leads to the border of the Everfree, whose trees don’t shed their leaves to the simple hooves of ponies.

3 - Greenhooves’ ancestral burial ground. The Greenhooves family has lived in the Ponydale region since before Ponyville was founded, and were one of the founding families of the town. Due to the family’s great connection to the earth the immediate area is brimming with the magic of nature.

4 - Harry’s cave. Ponyvillians are wary of coming close to the burial ground thanks to the nearby ursine, save for those who know he’s not much of a threat.

5 - Cardiac Creek. A large pond full of life which has become home to a small community of Alp-Luachra. Fishing here has been banned as a result.

6 - Canterlot Flow. This section of the river has already passed through the northernmost parts of the Everfree, but the bad soil carried from the forest is mostly cleansed by the time it reaches Ponyville, thanks in part to the magic in the soil of Greenhooves’ Grove.

7 - A dilapidated guard tower dating back to Ponyville’s earliest days, back when the region was more dangerous. The ruins of an old house lay close by.

(Edited slightly with a better path and extra forest)
