Notes about the design/character:
 
-Confetti used to be an incarnation of G3 Minty, with a similar personality to her current self but way less developed. Her talent was making mint-based candy instead of throwing children’s parties.
 
-After scrapping Minty and all other past-gen characters, I created Confetti Surprise and made her a pegasus since it’s a common headcanon that Pinkie has those genes in her family.
 
-Confetti was originally a ship-ambiguous child of Pinkie, but I think I made her TOO ship-ambiguous. She looked nothing like either Pinkie or Cheese. I ultimately sold her old design as an adopt and created her current version. She looks much more like a CheesePie child now!
 
-Even after I finalized her design, Confetti was still a generic party-loving CheesePie child. It took me awhile to develop her into the more responsible, motherly friend she is today.
 
-Confetti and Lightning were always shipped, even if it took me awhile to actually do anything with the ship. I always liked their “opposites attract” potential.
 
-Glamgoria-Morose gave me the idea to kill her off young. Blame him for the tragedy that’s about to ensue! It actually breaks my heart to see her go (even more than Paint) but I can’t pass up the storytelling opportunities.
