I don’t think she would. This wasn’t meant to be Fluttershy feeding Glimmy to a snake or anything. What I intended for this pic was Fluttershy does have control over this snake, or rather is close enough to the snake to know her and get her to listen, so she knows Starlight is safe. I think she would not be doing this if there was any risk at all to her friend’s safety.
 
She’s telling the truth about what she’s saying in the pic, and I think this snake in my art has a history of preferring to play and cuddle over straight up vore hehe

Why not both? I like to imagine she swallows ponies to help them relax more, and Fluttershy lets her because she’s really good at what she does. (She’d be speaking from “experience”, of course.) XD

I definitely intended for it to be Fluttershy being sincere and Starlight really is in no danger at all, she’s just still rather skeptical and nervous for obvious reasons haha.
 
But people can imagine whatever they want as the “follow up” X3.

So, wait, is this snake actually going to eat Starlight? Or is Fluttershy being sincere and the snake really is just going to give her a hug? Because I Honestly cannot tell.

I like hypnosis in many forms and snakes in many forms, I just always want them to have lovely powers X3  
otherwise it seems a little boring to me. How else will they get any other creature to like them? X3
 
I don’t think there’s any harm in it really. It’s a really good combination. The hypnosis and the coils go perfectly together.

I honestly hate how hypnotism is tied with snakes. I really do, especially since it pervades so much snake artwork. both safe and lewd.
 
That said, I do really like this artists style and how they crafted everything.
