I want to know what this Talisman of Mirage is.
 
Given the name, is probably a device that channels the magic of a changeling into another creature/object/location to either cover it with a persisten ilusion, or even shapeshifting it into something else like a changeling would do.  
-> Just like Twilight morphing rodents into horses (or herself and the mane 5 into breezies), it is probably temporary.
