yep, i’d agree to that. personally, i see the MLP fandom as a… subset, of sorts. or parts of it, anyway. the 18+ embracing part, specifically, as that’s what i first associate with furries. however, i lack a neutral perspective on the topic. though i don’t belong to either fandom, i made first contact with them under different conditions and never tried to find the origin of furry subculture. so… i don’t know where this mutual disdain comes from. it might even just be vocal minorities giving the impression of general mutuality. what i do know is that furries were a thing long before Bronies formed and that some furries were frustrated with the increasing mass of MLP content (and fans) finding its way into their places. so it might be about veterans and newcomers, purism, “trespassing”, etc… idk. it’s difficult to make objectively valid statements. your profile picture is nice, though

Honestly, Bronies hating Furries and the other way round is just ridiculous. Both fandoms seem to share more similarities than differences in my opinion, e.g. liking sapient animals which more or less resemble humans.

Hey, don’t sell Rarity short. I remember “Forever Filly”. Rarity would probably be more than willing to give it a go, so long as elaborate costumes were involved and there was a half decent chance of a photo shoot.
