You have to look at it this way. Discord is the only being of its kind. I don’t want to defend it, or apologize, but if you’re omnipotent, how are you supposed to learn empathy for others? You’re on completely different levels of consciousness. It is therefore right and important that Starlight takes the first step. Discord is not stupid. But he needs some lessons with the broadsword, so to speak.
What pisses me off is that in the end it was Starlight that was the one to apologize. Discord gets away with all the crap he pulled on her, and messing with the The table mission system.
