I feel wording is important. Darthrex wasn’t saying collecting plushies was disturbing, only the fact that liking Glimmer was disturbing (I mean come on. I get posters here intentionally ripping on my favorite pony Flutters to get a rise out of me, but I’m not going to take it to heart.)
 
It was meant to be light-hearted banter/joking. He/she didn’t seriously mean it or maliciously intend to hurt the poster’s feelings. Well I can’t speak for he/she but that’s the vibe I got and that’s what I intended to convey in my post.

This is actually my collection. While I do personally not donate money to charity (since most charities are in some way or another a scam) I have over the years spent hundreds of hours of my time working in soup kitchens and community rehabilitation projects.
 
In all seriousness though you must live a sheltered life if you find something like this “disturbing”.

He better avoid reading about charities too. 90% of them only ever donate a tiny fraction of what they get. The rest is “Administration costs”.
