his reasons and their connections are pretty obvious to me. I could be wrong, but I think it’s been made crystal clear that the judicator is possessed along with everyone else by a shapeless malevolent being who feeds on hatred and has green glowing eyes (two guesses as to who that is and the first don’t count) and they’re trying to fill luna with enough hatred to give him the power to take over her mind which would be pretty much game over, and since she’s speaking with the same voice as pierson, uh… game over.
“It doesn’t hurt to backtrack a little to understand what’s going on.”
Nah. I’ll pass.
This story has become over complicated for my taste and I would wonder how the artist intends
to pull this story out of this writing conundrum if only I had the patience.
I’ll probably look this comic up after . . . what 5 years when it’s concluded
if it ever will be concluded at all at this pace or when I could even remember it.
You’re right.
The hiatuses aren’t doing any favors.
Won’t be surprised if the story this complicated gets resolved with a Dues Ex Machina just to be done with it.
This is often the case when a story ambition outgrows the writing capacity
of the author and creativity burnout starts rearing its head.
Pity really.
I Genuinely wanted to love this comic.

The war is still a thing. It’s just the Judicator set a trap for Luna to put her in a hard place and manipulate her for reasons we don’t fully know yet. We find out that he’s been mind controlling his own people to get them to go to war with Equestria. Also, there’s some dark entity in the comic that’s been floating around influencing and possessing others (Eschar, Pierson, Luna, that Ursa Major way back), and it’s connected with the Judicator and Chrysalis.
All of this is connected. The problem is the long hiatuses aren’t doing people any favors, and because of how long the story is going people are going to forget some things. It doesn’t hurt to backtrack a little to understand what’s going on.
You’re not the only one.
I’m failing to see the connection of a hostile takeover of Canterlot, the systematic mass murder of Unicorns,
the roadtrip in search for the (plot convenient sake) lost elements, bumping into Queen Chrysalis because
reasons and trying to control Nightmare Moon who for some odd reason is GODMODE in this story,
to the point that I kinda stopped caring about the overall plot of the story altogether.
At least it has decent art that makes me keep coming back, but looking at it today
even that has become somewhat inferior quality wise compared to what this artist was capable of 2 and 3 years ago.
